Having fun with Howard the Duck!!
Howard the Duck:
Howard the Duck is a fictional character created by writer Steve Gerber and artist Val Mayerik. He first appeared in the comic book Adventure into Fear #19 in 1973.
Howard is an anthropomorphic duck who originates from a planet called Duckworld, where ducks have evolved to be the dominant intelligent species instead of humans. Somehow, he ends up transported to Earth, where he has to adapt to living in a world of humans.
In the original comics, Howard is portrayed as a sarcastic, cynical, and grumpy duck who often finds himself caught up in bizarre and surreal adventures in the human world. He frequently encounters supernatural and cosmic threats and has to use his wits to survive.
The character gained more mainstream popularity in 1986 when a live-action Howard the Duck film was released, starring Lea Thompson and directed by George Lucas. The film was a critical and commercial failure, but has since gained a cult following.
Since then, Howard the Duck has continued to appear in various Marvel Comics publications, often as a supporting character. He's known for his wisecracking personality and his refusal to accept the absurdities of the human world he finds himself in.
